Counselling

Counselling is often used to describe a situation in which a person is working on a particular issue that is currently affecting their life and may be for a shorter period of time. It allows a person to receive professional help through a process of listening and facilitating. Following this, methods will then be developed to help overcome the issue they are having.

Psychotherapy

Psychotherapy is often used to describe situations where a person is working on issues which are related to their past but are still having an effect on their life currently which may require deeper exploration. Psychotherapy is generally where you look at the overall person and all the various aspects of their lives, both past and present. It is integrated and can employ different aspects, helping the client to move forward.

Life Coaching

Brideswell Counselling and Psychotherapy also offer life coaching to help people develop in all areas of their life. This can be anything from a mother returning to the workplace, to a person who cannot develop in their personal relationships.
